About Me
Thank you for stopping by! A little bit about me, I worked in hospitality for over a decade and loved it! The craic, the friendships I made and the general chit chat and banter with customers. Not surprising for anyone who knows me – they all know I love a good natter! Working in hospitality also taught me the importance of attention to detail, those little details that could easily go unnoticed but if picked up on can make someone’s day.

I welcomed my first daughter into the world and realised my time with hospitality had come to an end. So, toddler in tow, I went back to uni and retrained as a Primary School teacher. Another job I am fortunate to love and enables me to unleash my ultra organised side!
My desire to become a humanist celebrant came after my husband and I had a humanist ceremony. We thought it was so unique that our ceremony was just about us, telling our story and using rituals to join both our families and guests together. We had a ‘Warming of the Rings’ ceremony and ‘Sand Blending’ – more about these in my FAQs! I believed this would be the best job and one I would feel privileged to do, also no better way to bring together my attention to detail, love of being organised and LOVE of getting to know people. So, here I am – ready and waiting to marry you!

I now live in Newtownabbey with my husband and three children, although I travel throughout NI for weddings.
If you think we would be a good fit, I would love to hear from you. Let’s chat!
